Savages (Dubbed) (PG)

Play Make Do: A Festival of Fun for All the Family

Premiering at Cannes Film Festival last year, Claude Barras' latest stop-motion animation follows a girl and an orangutan on a mission to protect their forest home from imminent destruction.

11-year-old Keria lives in Borneo, where she discovers an abandoned baby orangutan in her father’s palm tree operation. She starts to take care of the young ape while fighting against the threat of destruction that descends on the ancient forest.

After the global success of Claude Barras’ last film My Life as a Courgette, which won of two César Awards and an Oscar nomination, this new feature is both sensitive and irresistible.

Savages also features the voices of Babette de Coster, Martin Verset, Laëtitia Dosch and Benoît Poelvoorde.
