Frequencies: The sounds that shape us

Barbican and Trippin logos with the title 'Frequencies'

Join us and Trippin for an unforgettable evening of conversation and music with Mykki Blanco, Rat Section, Scratchclart and Nkisi.

We've partnered with Trippin to celebrate our summer programme 'Frequencies: the sounds that shape us' that explores the power of sound - join us in a journey with Trippin for an immersive exploration of sound as a connector to place.

The event will start with a private view of our exhibition Feel the Sound and also our Rebel Radio Listening Hub.

Then join us in the Conservatory for a panel that interrogates the symbiotic connection between sound and place, and how frequencies act as testimonies to disappearing cities, cultures and communities.

There'll also be live performances by U.S. queer rapper Mykki Blanco and experimental duo, Rat Section, alongside high-tempo DJ sets from Nkisi and Scratchclart

Complimentary drinks will be available throughout the evening, courtesy of Casamigos and Showerings Cider, with a paid bar afterwards.
