Wendy & Peter Pan

Royal Shakespeare Company

A person starts to fly in the air, levitating above their bed

Fly away to Neverland as you’ve never experienced it before with Ella Hickson’s darkly witty retelling of JM Barrie’s Peter Pan directed by Jonathan Munby.

The RSC return with an exhilarating new take on the beloved classic.

Follow Wendy on a big adventure as she journeys far from the safety of the Darling’s nursery in her quest to find the key to her parents’ forgotten happiness and discovers how the power of just one happy thought can set flight to newfound joy.

With Peter Pan, fairy Tink and Tiger Lily as her unlikely allies, Wendy takes on the diabolical Captain Hook, brought to life by RSC Associate Artist Toby Stephens (Oslo, Hamlet) in this ‘spectacular’ (Guardian) staging about what it really means to grow up.

With breathtaking set design from Colin Richmond, flying, sword fighting and more than a sprinkling of fairy dust, it's an unforgettable journey for the family, playing for five weeks only.

This production was originally produced by Bunkamura Theatre in Tokyo and Leeds Playhouse.
