Ultraman: Rising + Ramzee Draw Along (PG) – Relaxed Families

Family Film Week

A superhero flies through the air with a baby Kaiju on his back.

We’re super excited to welcome the brilliant storyteller-illustrator (and total film buff), Ramzee, to the cinema this morning.

Before the film, Ramzee will take us through the paces of how to draw some Kaiju and get the audience feeling creative! And after that, sit back and draw along as you watch.

Based on the popular Manga character, Ultraman: Rising is a fresh new take on the super-hero vs monster dynamic with fizzing action sequences and fantastic animation.

Kenji Sato – a superstar baseball player - reluctantly returns to Japan to take over his father’s role as Ultraman, a giant superhero who battles against Kaiju attacks. During a fierce battle, Ken unknowingly rescues an egg – the baby imprinting on him and claiming him as its mother! Raising a baby Kaiju is no easy task, especially when you’re a celebrity sports star, but Ken also has to discover why the KDF (Kaiju Defence Force) are so interested in his new charge and what nefarious plans they have.
