Wonka (PG) (AD)

Family Film Club

Willy Wonka, wearing a top hat and cane, stands on stage surrounded by umbrellas with 'WONKA' written on them.

A young chocolate-maker, armed with nothing but a hatful of dreams, manages to change the world, one delectable bite at a time.

Based on the extraordinary, iconic character at the centre of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Wonka tells the wondrous story of a young chocolate-maker.

From Paul King, writer/director of the Paddington films, David Heyman, producer of Harry Potter, comes a delightful mix of magic and music, mayhem and emotion, all told with fabulous heart and humour.

Timothée Chalamet plays a young Willy Wonka, as he becomes the world’s greatest inventor, magician and chocolate-maker. Starring alongside Chalamet are Olivia Colman, Hugh Grant and Keegan-Michael Key.
