Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas (PG) + Festive Film Quiz

Family Film Club

A skeleton man and a short man in a suit dance together on a dark stage.

Start December with this off the wall, gothic classic – now in its 30th Year! Directed by Henry Sellick and presented by Tim Burton, an unmissable feast of filmmaking on the big screen!

Presented by Tim Burton (Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Batman, Beetlejuice to name but a few!) comes The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Jack Skellington – the ‘Pumpkin King’ - is feeling tired of his routine life in Halloween Town; however, when he discovers a magical door leading him to Christmas Town he decides to take over Santa’s job as his own – with disastrous consequences.

This fantastical fairy tale has many of the hallmarks of Tim Burton’s signature style – gothic visuals, dark humour, signature music and quirky characters – as well as a mischievous central lead and a warm-hearted love story that make it a treat for young audiences getting ready to for the festive season.

P.S. Festive jumpers encouraged!
