Mew and Danish Chamber Orchestra

composite image of Danish band Mew

Danish alternative rock band Mew performs a cross-section of their music alongside the Danish Chamber Orchestra at this special one-off UK show.

For more than 25 years, the Danish boundary-pushing band Mew has distinguished itself as one of the most innovative and remarkable bands worldwide. As a live act, they have time and again broken free from familiar frameworks and created new spaces, resulting in grand musical moments. Currently consisting of singer Jonas Bjerre, drummer Silas Graae, and bassist Johan Wohlert, the band has released a total of nine studio albums to date including their debut A Triumph For Man (1997) and their breakthrough album Frengers (2003).

At their only UK date in their Northern European tour, Mew and the Danish Chamber Orchestra will dive into the band’s impressive list of songs and breathe exciting new life into them.
