Theater Camp (12A) (AD)

Parent and Baby Screening

Two theatre leaders discuss a young performer on stage

An ode to the theatre kids: a mockumentary following an eclectic bunch of theatre leaders as they try to stop their camp from being closed down.

From Molly Gordon and Nick Lieberman, a comedy that has already gone down a storm stateside, Theater Camp follows on from the likes of Booksmart, Bridesmaids, and Pitch Perfect in the American comedy roster.

With recognisable comics Ben Platt, Molly Gordon, Amy Sedaris and Jimmy Tatro leading the way, the film follows a story of, when the patron of a drama school falls ill, her tech-bro son tries to step in to save the camp. Butting heads with the am-dram leaders, the unlikely gang must put their differences aside and work together to save the school.
