Jockstrap

Jockstrap

Electronic pop duo Jockstrap debut their distinctive mix of timeless songwriting and innovative electronic production, a year after the release of their debut album I Love You Jennifer B.

Jockstrap formed in 2017 after Georgia Ellery (also of Black Country, New Road) met Taylor Skye at the Guildhall School Of Music & Drama where they were studying jazz and electronic composition, respectively.

With a disregard for convention, Georgia and Taylor have gone on to forge a creative partnership that breaks apart existing styles only to expertly reassemble them, forming entirely fresh genres. Jockstrap effortlessly capture the chaos, joy, uncertainty, intrigue, pain and romance of this age like no other artist today.

After a summer of tour de force performances at festivals (including Wide Awake, Primavera, Glastonbury, Pitchfork Chicago) and Wembley Stadium (supporting Blur), their Barbican show is greatly anticipated as the duo return ‘full-circle’ to the institution that originally brought them together.
