Yoga on the Sculpture Court

Members' Event

Members doing the cactus pose in a Yoga class on the Conservatory Terrace.

Celebrate the Summer Solstice at this special Yoga class on the Sculpture Court.

The Summer Solstice is a time of maximum sun, full light and full flowering. Our teacher Jed Fox will guide you through an enlivening sequence of asana, pranayama and meditation to welcome the ritual of honouring the Sun. Join us for a wonderful Solstice morning to begin the longest day amongst our budding Barbican Yoga community.

After the class you can enjoy a complimentary FreeGlider & Tonic courtesy of Sipsmith. Sip their refreshing alcohol-free cocktail, chat with other Members and explore the Conservatory.

Why not make a day of it? Book your free ticket to see brand new exhibition Carrie Mae Weems: Reflections for Now after the class.

In case of bad weather this class will take place in the Conservatory.

There are 30 spaces available and it's suitable for all experience levels. This event is open to Members and up to three guests, guests require their own ticket.

The class runs from 10am-12pm, the yoga class will be 10-11.15am, with 45 mins to enjoy complimentary refreshments afterwards.

Yoga mats, blocks, straps and blankets are provided but you're welcome to bring your own or anything else that might aid your comfort.
