Meet Me In The Bathroom (15)

Musicians hang out in a club in New York in the 80s. Still from Meet Me In The Bathroom.

Fall down the rabbit hole into the noughties New York music scene in Meet Me In The Bathroom.

Titled after the iconic lyrics from The Strokes, Meet Me In The Bathroom is the equally iconic documentary that, using material filmed at the time, takes you on an immersive journey through the New York music scene of the early 2000s. With unseen footage of artists like Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Strokes, Interpol and LCD Soundsystem, and set against the backdrop of 9/11, the film tells the story of how a new generation kick started a musical rebirth for New York City that reverberated around the world.

Inspired by the book by Lizzy Goodman, Meet Me In The Bathroom was directed by the four capable hands of music doc afficionados Will Lovelace & Dylan Southern, known for their documentaries on LCD Soundsystem and Blur
