Love in Exile

Love in Exile

Witness three world-class musicians forge a singular voice that builds on their distinct backgrounds and vast histories to create a one-of-a-kind performance, defined by a sense of timeless beauty.

Recorded live in a New York City studio with minimal editing, Love in Exile is a startlingly present and emotionally open album created by three world-class musicians, featuring Vijay Iyer on piano and electronics, Shahzad Ismaily on bass and Moog synth and GRAMMY award-winning musician Arooj Aftab.

Following the album's release on 24th March, the trio will make their London debut. Featuring shimmering keyboard melodies, stirring vocals, earthy basslines and hypnotic drones, they come together and defy genre boundaries to perform an album of stunning gravitas and beauty. Creating a breathtakingly unified sound, Love In Exile demonstrates the power music holds in providing a meeting ground and a way of being alive in the world that ultimately invites us to love.
