Kirsten Dunst in The Power of the Dog

Benedict Cumberbatch and Kirsten Dunst conquer the Western in Jane Campion's brooding melodrama

After a 12 year break from the big screen, Jane Campion is back with her adaptation of Thomas Savage's 1967 novel The Power of the dog, featuring a powerhouse cast.

Charismatic rancher Phil Burbank (Benedict Cumberbatch) inspires fear and awe in those around him. When his brother brings home a new wife (Kirsten Dunst) and her son (Kodi Smit-McPhee), Phil torments them until he finds himself exposed to the possibility of love.
