Sam Every Big Band & The Messengers

Part of Guildhall Jazz Festival

Sam Every Big Band in concert

We're sorry to announce that the Guildhall Jazz Festival has been cancelled.

Formed by Guildhall musician Sam Every in 2018, the Sam Every Big Band is a group taking the UK jazz scene by storm. For this performance they are joined by Sara Colman, whose expressive songwriting blurs musical genres into her own captivating style.

The Messengers is a 30-piece band like no other, bringing together Guildhall School performers with musicians from the Recovery College at St Mungo’s homeless charity. Join them for this launch of their debut album, Bear Witness – a journey of heart-warming, soulful songs about life and love, laced with cinematic grooves and lyrics that need to be heard.

Cancellation

Following Guildhall School’s move to suspend all face-to-face teaching from Wednesday 18 March in response to COVID-19, the Guildhall Jazz Festival has unfortunately been cancelled.
