1000 Londoners

What is the role of men in today’s London? Stay-at-home dads, cage-fighters, trans activists and more are all featured in this special screening of short films.

1000 Londoners returns with a collection of short documentaries exploring masculinity and manhood in London, a city that has seen considerable social change over the last few decades. The films delve into what being a man means today, covering themes including fatherhood, sexuality, mental health and creativity, offering an objective and rich view of the range and diversity of men and their unique and refreshing stories.

The short films are shown alongside rare archive footage of men throughout the decades and will be followed by a panel discussion with a 1000 Londoners creative director and contributors.
