An evening looking back at over 30 years of big band performance as Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis play tribute to some of the jazz greats.

As part of their International Associates Residency at the Barbican, the finest big band on the planet perform much-loved jazz standards, paying tribute to some of jazz traditions legends – Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie, Dave Brubeck and Benny Goodman.

Over the last 30 years Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra have led the way in spreading awareness of this music. This is an evening of celebration – hear much-loved classics and explore these artists’s music, stories and motivations, all with the Orchestra’s trademark swing and style.
