Community View: Into the Night

Woman smiling behind a frame

A free evening of art, performance and workshops for community groups.

Join us for a special view of our current exhibition, Into the Night: Cabarets and Clubs in Modern Art. This landmark exhibition explores the history of cabarets, cafés and clubs in modern art across the world, from London to New York, Paris, Mexico City, Berlin, Vienna, and Ibadan. Discover works of art, many rarely seen in the UK, as well as life-size recreations of avant-garde spaces.

Along with a visit to the Art Gallery, you can immerse yourself in performances, installations and workshops from the Barbican Young Creatives.

Alongside this we will also be running short introductory architecture tours of the Barbican from 5pm.

Our Community Views are open to community groups, charities and neighbourhood centres. Please check eligibility and register by emailing [email protected]
