In 1985 filmmaker Rudolf Van den Berg documented his friend, the Palestinian artist and historian Kamal Boullata on his journey to Jerusalem.

Stranger at Home takes the audience on a journey with Boullata, who had not seen his home country for a long time. However, the friends, making the trip together, find themselves descending in to a painful confrontation as a Jew versus a Palestinian.

This film, rarely screened, is the director's cut format. This is a special event, hosted by the LPFF in honour of the revered luminary, Kamal Boullata, who sadly passed away this year.
