A morning full of amazing robots and awe-inspiring sci-fi.

We’re delighted to welcome award-winning children’s author and screenwriter, Frank Cottrell-Boyce, to discuss the inspiration behind his latest book, Runaway Robot, and introduce a screening of the stunning animation, The Iron Giant.

When young Hogarth sneaks out one night, he discovers a huge iron robot that has descended from the stars and the two form an unlikely friendship.

Adults can only come if they’re bringing a child, and children can only come along if accompanied by an adult. If you’re over 18, we’re afraid being a ‘big kid’ doesn’t count.
