Hard Paint (18)

boy in dark room covered in neon paint

A compelling queer drama from Brazillian writer-director duo Filipe Matzembacher and Marcio Reolon

Pedro (Shico Menegat) lives a double life, by day he is socially withdrawn and self-conscious, by night he earns money by seductively dancing in front of his webcam whilst covering himself with neon paint – his trademark. Pedro discovers that another man is copying his act and resolves to confront him.

This drama is visually striking and captivating in its exploration of a gay man's struggle to find a place or community where he can belong.

Please note: This film contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
