Guildhall Session Orchestra

Inaugural Concert

Guildhall Session Orchestra in rehearsal

In its inaugural concert, the newly formed alumni-based Guildhall Session Orchestra presents an exciting evening of hybrid electro-orchestral music.

The programme will showcase highlights from recent Guildhall projects such as music for the Waddesdon Manor projections, Eternal Descent composed for the City-architecture-inspired Musicity project, and the score for short film Just in Time. The soundtrack for the Museum of London's current immersive experience Beasts of London will be performed in its entirety.

All of these exciting works by composers of the School’s Electronic Music department will be brought to life by the professional Guildhall Session Orchestra and accompanied by on-screen visuals.

Promoted by the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

Concert duration: approximately 1.5 hours (no interval)
