'I Love Film!' Art Competition

We know that our Family Film Clubbers are a talented bunch, so we want to celebrate your creativity with a competition!

We’re asking our young audience members to submit a piece of artwork titled ‘I LOVE FILM!’.  
You can create what you like – a drawing, a painting, a model, a collage, a poster – even a short animation! 

Take a picture of it or make the video, and then ask your grown-up to upload it below. 

If you win, you'll get a large popcorn to nosh on and the chance to see your artwork up on the big screen before a Family Film Club show in December and January!

The deadline for submissions is Monday 24 November, 6pm.

If you've won, we'll let you know by Sunday 30 November and when to expect your artwork on our screen!


 

Submission guidelines

  • Artwork must be created by children of 18yrs or under.
     
  • All artwork must be submitted by a parent/guardian of 18yrs or above.
     
  • Please do not include any personal details or identifiers in the artwork.
     
  • Images should be one file, no more than 6.4 MB, ideally no less than 5.0 MB and in a landscape format. Allowed types: gif, jpg, png.
     
  • Videos should be one file, no more than 6.4MB, ideally no less than 5.0MB and in a landscape format. Allowed types: avi, mov, mp4, ogg, wav, webm.
     

 

  • Due to the number of entries we receive, we cannot reply to everyone individually. If you have not heard from us by the end of November, please assume you have not been successful on this occasion (but we'd love you to submit again in the future!). 
     
  • Competition winners’ artwork will be displayed on the cinema screen before select Family Film Club screenings and may also be used on the Barbican’s social media for marketing purposes. If you would prefer us not to use the artwork on social media, please tell us on your entry form.
