Content Guidance for Barbican Young Poets Showcase

This event explores unsettling themes that some audience members may find difficult. 

Some of the work created explores themes and issues pertinent to the group, which may be of a mature/distressing nature and may include strong language. Specific topics include: chronic pain, climate crisis, conflict, eating disorders, death, displacement, domestic violence, grief, homophobia, hospitalisation, illness, mental health, nausea/vomiting, oppression, psychiatric hospitalisation, racism, war. 

Age guidance: 16+
