Trio Da Kali

Experience the heart of Malian griot tradition through Trio Da Kali as they bring their culturally tuned sound with a contemporary twist for a magical night.

Trio Da Kali invites you on a rich, soul-stirring journey into the heart of Mali’s griot tradition. With soaring vocals, deep grooves, and mesmerizing melodies, their music is both timeless and alive—full of emotion, rhythm, and storytelling. Expect an intimate, powerful performance that bridges past and present with grace and fire.

The trio brings together three remarkable artists: singer Hawa Kassé Mady Diabaté, celebrated for her stunning voice and deep roots in Kela’s griot tradition; master balafon player Fodé Lassana Diabaté, a creative force with decades of collaborations; and Mamadou Kouyaté, whose bass ngoni brings a fresh, driving energy passed down from his legendary father, Bassekou Kouyaté.
