Learn how to take vibrant shots of nature with this technical skills workshop focusing on capturing plants in detail.

Photographer Anthony Palmer will provide guided assistance to help you to capture beautiful shots of the Barbican's surrounding plant life.

Anthony will explain how to use different techniques useful for nature photography. We'll look at lens choices including close focus (macro photography) to capture creative angles and highlight details. Anthony will help you to explore various lighting techniques such as backlighting to give your images a luminescent quality. After the workshop you'll be equipped with new skills to take forward into future nature photography endeavours.
