Wolfwalkers (PG) + free pre-film workshop

Family Film Club

Two animated girls sit on a branch

From the studio behind Song of the Sea and The Breadwinner, their latest film is an uplifting and stunning animation.

Join us in the Cinema 2 & 3 café from 10am for a free drop-in workshop before the screening.

Wolfwalkers tells the tale of a remote town in 17th century Ireland where hunter Bill Goodfellowe (Sean Bean) and his daughter Robyn (Honor Kneafsey) are sent to deal with increasing wolf attacks. As her father sees to his duties, Robyn is left feeling isolated in a town that doesn't really want her.

One day she follows her father into the woods and discovers that the legend spoken in town of the infamous wolfwalkers is true... The film is almost entirely created with mesmerising and beautiful hand-drawn animation, with deep and striking colours. It's a lyrical adventure with a strong and rhythmic heartbeat throughout.
