Next Generation Takes Over

This event celebrates emerging talent, profiling the incredible music made by young people across the UK and providing exciting opportunities for collaboration with professional musicians. 

There will be performances from students at the Julian Joseph Jazz Academy – a weekly academy run by renowned pianist and composer Julian Joseph that offers young instrumentalists the chance to develop their skills by working with some of the world's best musicians and teaches them about the American roots of jazz.

And there will be a showcase of music from Camden Music Hub – an initiative that provides the youth with the highest quality musical tuition. This year Serious have partnered with the organisation to bring professional artists to the grassroots, working together to develop new music specifically for the Next Generation Takes Over showcase.
