A Neapolitan clown inspired Stravinsky’s ballet, Pulcinella, while Puccini set his own comic masterpiece in Renaissance Florence. Baritone Christopher Purves, whose recent performances of Gianni Schicchi were celebrated for their dazzling brilliance leads a talented cast of young singers.
