Architecture on Stage: Tony Fretton in conversation

with Andrew Clancy

Deinze Town Hall, designed by Tony Fretton

Internationally acclaimed British architect Tony Fretton joins Andrew Clancy in conversation.

Born in 1945, the British architect Tony Fretton came to international prominence in 1992 with the completion of the Lisson Gallery in west London, and has gone on to exert a powerful influence on subsequent generations of British architects. His later work has included the Red House, Chelsea (2001), Fuglsang Art Gallery in Denmark (2008), the British Embassy in Warsaw (2010), and Deinze Town Hall in Belgium (2017).  Fretton will be in conversation with Andrew Clancy, director of the Dublin-based Clancy Moore Architects.

The Architecture Foundation, in association with the Barbican, presents Architecture on Stage – a programme of talks by the world's leading architects.
