Parent & Baby Screening: Call Me by Your Name (15)

A still from Luca Guadagnino's romance Call Me By Your Name

Luca Guadagnino (A Bigger Splash, I Am Love) returns with this utterly beautiful romance following the relationship between 17 year-old Elio and doctoral student Oliver over a shimmering summer.

Set during a hot Italian summer in 1983, we follow teenager Elio Perlman (Timothée Chalamet), on holiday with his translator mother (Amira Casar) college professor father (Michael Stuhlbarg). When research assistant Oliver (Armie Hammer) comes to visit, he and Elio find themselves drawn to each other, and a profound relationship develops between them.

With superb performances and two new tracks from Sufjan Stevens, Guadagnino's adaptation of André Aciman's coming-of-age novel is a sun-kissed and transcendent romance, capturing both the exquisite pain and unbound joy of first love.
