Join the renowned historian and philosopher for a unique conversation exploring the roots of this chaotic and frightening moment in world history, and discover his insights into our future.
Few historians can claim to have changed the way we understand ourselves as individuals and a species, but Yuval Noah Harari is one. His global bestseller Sapiens transformed how we perceive the deep history of humankind and the power of stories to shape our destiny. In Homo Deus and Nexus, he challenged us to imagine how genetic engineering, climate change and Artificial Intelligence threaten to upend our future.
Now he returns with a singular vision of our present. Donald Trump has ended the neoliberal order and an era of Great Power warfare and imperial conquest has begun. Truth-seekers struggle to make their voices heard above the din of conspiracy theorists; and every day the news seems to bring some new emergency.
Prof. Harari will make sense of the myriad crises of our age and share his insights into where we go from here.
