Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (15) (AD)

Members' Screening

A woman in an apocalyptic landscape sits in a dark vehicle reversing.

Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth charge through the desert to tell the origin story of the renegade warrior Furiosa, in the swirling dust of the oppressive apocalyptic Mad Max world.

In 1979, Australian director George Miller made his feature-length directorial debut with Mad Max. Over 40 years later, Miller is still gripping fans with his dust-filled, post-apocalyptic desert world.

In this prequel to his Oscar-winning Mad Max: Fury Road, Miller tells the origin story of Furiosa, played here by Anya Taylor-Joy (rather than Charlize Theron, who had the role in the previous film of the saga.)

Kidnapped as a young child, Furiosa grows into a toughened warrior, determined to protect the lush green lands she came from, and reunite with her mother. Expect the chaos and adrenaline that Miller never fails to deliver.
