The Little Mermaid (PG) (AD)

Still from The Little Mermaid

The aquatic Disney princess tale is brought to live-action life by Halle Bailey, Javier Bardem and Melissa McCarthy.

Disney presents the new  live action remake of The Little Mermaid. Ariel, a young mermaid (played and sung beautifully by Halle Bailey) has an unquenchable fascination with humans. To learn more about the world above water, and to pursue a two-legged prince, Ariel makes a deal with Ursula, a sea-witch played by Melissa McCarthy (Ghostbusters, The Heat, Bridesmaids), trading her voice for human legs.

Come for the superb renditions of the classic songs, stay for Javier Bardem as the merman King Triton we didn't know was missing from our lives, in this joyful remake of the childhood classic.
