with Lianne La Havas

Lianne La Havas singing into a microphone

The soulful music of Lianne La Havas is given the live symphonic treatment by the BBC Symphony Orchestra, conducted and arranged by the BBC SO’s new Creative Artist in Association, Jules Buckley.

With influences from Nina Simone and Ella Fitzgerald to Lauryn Hill, Grammy nominated Lianne La Havas is known for her pure voice, filled with personality. In this one-off concert, Lianne and the BBC SO showcase the virtuosity of the full symphony orchestra alongside Lianne’s groove, performing arrangements from her acclaimed debut album ‘Is Your Love Big Enough?’ and her last album ‘Blood’, plus a few musical surprises.

Jules has built a reputation as a pioneering alchemist. Known for stretching the boundaries of musical genres, he amplifies them on an orchestral scale. This unique collaboration between singer, arranger and orchestra is not to be missed.
