The Flight of Dragons (U) + workshop

Family Film Club

two dragons, one green and one red, sit on a pile of gold with a wizard looking at them

An intricate animation and a real treat for anyone who loves fantasy quests and magical stories

A young board game enthusiast, Peter Dickinson, is transported from his life in present day (1980s Boston), to a magical realm of elemental wizards, knights, princesses, forest outlaws and – of course – dragons. Once there, he must join a quest to retrieve the Red Wizard Ommadon’s crown before humankind is destroyed.

Also featuring a theme tune recorded by folk legend Don McLean, this is a great chance to catch a rarely seen gem.

Join us at 10am for a workshop inspired by Flight of Dragons. Open to all children with their families and it's free, so just drop in!

Adults can only come if they’re bringing a child, and children can only come along if accompanied by an adult. If you’re over 18, we’re afraid being a ‘big kid’ doesn’t count.
