Young Barbican Night: HOME X

Join us for a night inspired by the world of Kakilang’s HOME X.

Explore the work of performing arts company Kakilang, the intersection of arts and digital technology, and themes of home and alternate worlds.

Dive into the 3D world of HOME X using a VR headset, and talk with the show’s 3D Designer Donald Shek as he walks you through how the world of HOME X was designed. Artist Antonio Roberts will teach you how to build an alternate digital world on Mozilla Hubs, and a workshop with Seana Gavin will explore designing new worlds through collage. With a bar and music throughout, the evening will culminate in a live coding audio-visual performance from artistic collaborators +777000 & nunez.

40 £5 tickets are available to Young Barbican members for the HOME X performance in the Pit Theatre on Saturday, 7:30-8:40pm, before joining the rest of the Young Barbican members in the Fountain Room until 10pm.
