Song of the Goat Theatre

This is Shakespeare’s tragedy retold through an intricately crafted blend of text, movement and polyphonic song.

Presented by an international ensemble of eight exceptional performers, the production explores the musicality and muscularity of Shakespeare’s poetry and the colours and sounds of his extraordinary language. The story and characters are vividly portrayed, but in realising the drama through a uniquely imaginative physical and vocal phrasing we understand the story anew.

Song of the Goat Theatre was founded in 1996 by Grzegorz Bral and Anna Zubrzycki and was seen in bite05 with Chronicles – A Lamentation which won a Fringe First and Herald Angel at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
