Mahler’s majestic Symphony No. 2, like Beethoven’s Ninth, introduces soloists and choir into the final movement. For the CEFC commission and world premiere Rage against the dying of the light, Will Todd sets ‘Do not go gentle…’ by Dylan Thomas (b. 1914).
