Biog
Johanna Sunder-Plassmann studied fine art at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Saar in Saarbrücken as well as the Accademia di belle Arti in Milan. She graduated in 2013 with a degree in Media Art from Kunsthochschule für Medien in Cologne.
Between 2009 and 2012 she was responsible for the exhibition design of author Orhan Pamuk’s Museum of Innocence, while simultaneously shooting her graduation film Istanbul Collecting. She is currently writing her debut film and working with designer Carlotta Werner on an exhibition about the repurposed every day objects which now appear in political protests throughout the world.
