Fortune Teller Press present a rare UK screening of Billy Childish is Dead, plus special live performances from Scroobius Pip and Graham Bendel, followed by an aftershow party.

Billy Childish is Dead (15)
A personal portrait of underground artist & garage punk legend Billy Childish (an influence on Kurt Cobain and Tracey Emin, to name but a few), which has since picked up a cult following of its own. Nominated for a British Independent Film Award, this documentary has since been shown at festivals all over the globe.

Finally directed and filmed by journalist Graham Bendel after the idea was repeatedly rejected by TV and Production companies, it has since been acclaimed by Uncut, Plan B magazine, The Evening Standard, with The Guardian describing this truly independent documentary as "a film made against the odds".

Interviewees include Shane Macgowan and director Larry Clark.

UK 2005 Dir. Graham Bendel 70 min.

The Sun’s Gonna Shine
A mesmerising short film about the youthful aspirations of bluesman Lightnin' Hopkins, using own music as a soundtrack.

US 1969 Dir. Les Blank approx 10 min.
