A tale of teenage love and alienation, Bronco Bullfrog plays out against the cafes, bombsites and new brutalist high-rise flats of Stratford in Londons East End.

The film grew out of a project run by veteran theatre director Joan Littlewood at the Theatre Royal, Stratford East, and was made on a shoestring with a cast of non-professionals.

Outstanding performances by Del Walker and Anne Gooding offer real freshness and life.
