Visit the Wonder: Art and Science on the Brain
Lonely Joel (Jim Carrey) and free-spirited Clementine (Kate Winslet) meet and fall in love. When the affair goes sour, Clementine erases all memories of Joel via a brain-zapping technique pioneered by a shady New York corporation, Lacuna Inc. Joel demands they perform the same service on him to forget Clementine, but then finds that he is strangely reluctant to relinquish his memories of the woman he loved, no matter how unbearably painful they are.
