Terrence Malick swiftly follows 2011’s Tree of Life with the story of Neil (Ben Affleck), a man caught between an high school sweetheart (Rachel McAdams) and his European girlfriend, Marina (Olga Kurylenko), who has moved to the US for him.

Meanwhile Marina encounters a priest (Javier Bardem) struggling with his faith.
