We are delighted to have Sol Cinema, the world’s smallest solar cinema, at the Barbican throughout the festival. Come to inFocus and enjoy a unique cinema experience in style and watch some amazing short films made by Young Filmmakers, curated by our Young Programmers.

Or, why not sit back and enjoy our comfy seats and free screens in the foyer where you will also be able to watch the short film programme.

There will a prize for Best Film in two age categories, under 15 & over 16-25, plus a Special Award. Each short film programme will be certificated as U, PG, 12A and 15 for your guidance.

We are also please to announce we are working with LiveMagSA to showcase short films made by young people from South Africa. A unique chance to see life from the eyes of a teenager in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Taking place on Sat 17, Sun 18, Sat 24 and Sun 25 Nov.

Watch out for our mini Q&As & events across the weekends in the inFocus caravan with our visiting filmmakers.
