To mark the publication of Ray Harryhausen’s Fantasy Scrapbook we are delighted to be screening the special effects masterpiece, Jason and the Argonauts.

This sweeping adventure about Jason's search for the golden fleece and his encounters with mythic gods and monsters is capped with a stirring score by Bernard Herrmann.

Following the screening, animation experts Merlin Crossingham, Mark Waring and Tony Dalton (curator of the Harryhausen Foundation) will be in conversation on the Cinema 1 stage.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Nick Park is unable to attend this event; however, we are delighted to announce that Merlin Crossingham (Creative Director of Aardman) will be now be taking part in the panel discussion following the screening.

8.58pm (approx) Winners of the Ray Harryhausen Scrapbook Animation competition presented on screen
9.05pm (approx) – Panel discussion with Merlin Crossingham, Mark Waring and Tony Dalton
9.50pm – (approx) – Panel discussion closes.

Ray Harryhausen’s Fantasy Scrapbook will be available to buy in the Cinema 1 foyer throughout the evening and all three panel members will be signing books in the Cinema 1 foyer for a short period after the on stage discussion has closed.
