A. L. Kennedy has written seventeen award-winning books, including six literary novels, seven short story collections and several works of non-fiction. She is a dramatist, essayist, journalist and performer, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
Professor Andrew Biswell is the Director of the International Burgess Foundation and Professor of Modern Literature at Manchester Metropolitan University. He is the author of The Real Life of Anthony Burgess (Picador, 2005) and editor of A Clockwork Orange: The Restored Edition (Penguin Classics, 2013). His new edition of A Vision of Battlements, Burgess's first completed novel, will be published in 2017.
