IdeasTap is an on-line network and charity that funds, connects and nurtures new creative talent.  IdeasTap currently has a membership of over 37,000 and provides a platform for young creative people to connect, showcase their work and skills, find jobs, and promote events and exhibitions of their work.

IdeasTap works with partners such as Old Vic New Voices, National Youth Theatre and Magnum Photos to develop unique industry opportunities – from performing on The Old Vic stage and creatively producing multidisciplinary arts festivals and new online dramas, to creative assignments in Dubai, New York and Shanghai.

Since 2008 IdeasTap has provided over 3,500 young people with individual funding, expert mentoring or the opportunity to work with a leading arts organisation. In the past year alone our members have received over £200,000 of direct cash funding. Primarily, this money is distributed through the Ideas Fund and, as well as financial support; IdeasTap coordinates expert mentoring from leading industry professionals.

Open to anyone living in the UK aged 16 – 25 the Ideas Fund recognises and celebrates young creative talent. It is currently divided into four funds, which between them support short films, productions at the Edinburgh Festival, arts projects exploring environmental themes or produced in an environmentally sustainable way, and projects that are simply new and exciting ideas.

Peter De Haan is founder and Chief Executive of the Peter De Haan Charitable Trust (PDHCT) and IdeasTap, and is featured in The Sunday Times Rich List.
