Magnum Photos Now: Storytelling

17 July 2017
Frobisher Auditorium 1
Magnum photographers have described themselves as an ‘idiosyncratic mix of journalist, artist and storyteller’ and over the last seventy years developed a mode of visual storytelling using their own visual style and voice to reflect on the world around them.

In this talk, author Geoff Dyer explores the idea of the photographer as storyteller, reflecting photography’s power to narrate, suggest, inform, and connect.
