This year marks the 70th anniversary of artist collective and historic agency, Magnum Photos. Over the years there have been many attempts to define the agency, its members’ vision of photography, its values and its history. With descriptions wildly varying from ‘an utterly impossible concept’ (John G Morris) to a ‘concept-idea greater than any of its members’ (Elliott Erwitt), this lively discussion, featuring members and friends of the agency, asks the question, ‘What is Magnum?’ and explores what currency it holds today.

With speakers David Kogan, Executive Director Magnum Photos International, and Magnum photographers Olivia Arthur, David Hurn and Jonas Bendiksen.
