Gallery Talk An introduction to Victoriana in contemporary Japanese and global fashion with Catherine Spooner, Senior Lecturer in English Literature at Lancaster University and author of Contemporary Gothic.
London’s premiere steampunk club White Mischief presents an alternative view of the future as seen through the prism of the Victorian age. Bustles, top hats and clockwork innards jostle against sci-fi visions such as rayguns and steam cannons. Expect vintage music, steampunkthemed cabaret, and the chance to create your own DIY steampunk look.

Event update: The line up for the event is to include:

Walkabout performance: Amundsen and Slade’s Sonic Sideshow

Steampunk curios and jewellery from Professor Maelstromme

Steampunk props from Herr Döktor

Make Your Own Steampunk Look! Hosted by Carnival Catalyst / The Tusk and Garter Club

Acoustic performance: The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing

Acoustic performance: Thomas Truax
